“Strata with Flower” by Mary Ellen Coe
Mary Ellen taught a design class based on Rob Appel’s Strata book. She loves the strata design as a background
with fun, bold appliqué to charm us. These strata pieces were left over from the class; so, she put together a wall
hanging. The appliqué pieces are either turned fabric or raw edge. She added the bee in with his crazy smile tomake us smilr too!
