Friendship Groups

The Friendship Groups of TBQ are the lifeblood of the Guild.  Here is where friendships grow, and where many new Guild ideas and activities are born.  It is also where we work together to achieve goals of the Guild.

The size of the group is limited by the space available at the location of where the groups gather, which in most cases, is in the homes of the members.  If a group is indicated as full, contact the group leader to check on availability.

If you have a special interest, gather your friends (or those you may have just met), and form your own Friendship Group.  It’s that easy.  Contact the Friendship Group Committee Chair listed in the TBQ Directory for more information on how to form a new group.  The sky is the limit.

Scrappy Happy – Calling all scrap enthusiasts. Are your beloved scraps from a favorite project procreating in the middle of the night? Are you looking for a bigger variety to choose from? Scrap Happy mini group is being formed to encourage and share your beloved scraps. We’ll talk scrap care, management, cutting, and of course share our best pieces with each other. We can have a scrap cutting party (one or multiple) with my big momma Accuquilt and choose a “challenge pattern” to work on. I’ve got several in mind. Let’s use our scrap fabric that sitting in bins. You paid for ALL of your fabric, not just the pieces that are in that quilt you love! If this group interests you, please
contact member Sharon Harris. Time and place for meetings TBD.
