It is time once again to sign up and pay your registration for RETREAT LITE – FALL 2026. Jamie Davis will be taking sign ups at the September General Membership meeting on Monday, September 14th. Here are the details (although they rarely even change):
WHAT: A two-day retreat offered to all TBQ members. The retreat is an opportunity to create together with other TBQ members.
WHEN: Thursday and Friday, October 22nd and 23rd from 8:40-4:30 daily.
WHERE: Trinity Presbyterian Church located in Prescott.
HOW: Registration for the two-days remains $15.00 per person. There are spaces for twenty-four sewists. You provide your own sewing/creating materials and we’ll provide the space.
As in the past, this remains a no-frills retreat. You must provide your own lunch, your own drinks, and we ask that you bring a munchie item to share. We will provide cutting and ironing stations as well as surge protectors and extension cords.
Registrations will be taken until all spaces are taken. We will also make a “waitlist” as sometimes our members have things come up and need to cancel.

RETREAT LITE is on the move!

Coming off a super successful SPRING RETREAT LITE, we have news … WE ARE ON THE MOVE! The dates for our FALL RETREAT LITE are now going to be reset to Thursdays and Fridays as the church is hosting a Home School organization on Mondays and Wednesdays. Jamie and I know that a lot of you have already placed the fall dates in your calendars, so here are the new dates to record:
Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23, 2026
More details will follow in the months ahead, so for now just be sure to update your calendars with the new dates. Sign-ups will start at the September General Membership meeting.

Calling All Sewists! Calling All Makers!
Your RETREAT LITE gals, Dana Swain and Jamie Davis, are at it again … and it’s time for YOU sewists and makers to add the 2026 RETREAT LITE dates to your calendars! RETREAT LITE is simply an opportunity for our members to gather and create in community. We provide the space to create while you provide everything else you need to sew/make/discuss/commiserate/celebrate/dance … Well, you get the picture. We meet at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Prescott on each day. The cost is $15.00 which covers the rental of the room and some supplies needed for the retreat. Participants bring their own lunches and drinks and maybe a treat to share. The space is limited to twenty-four participants, so be sure to sign up and hold your space!
🧵 First, be sure to add the March four-day Quilt Camp (currently scheduled for Monday, March 23rd through Thursday, March 26th) to your calendars. Watch for forthcoming information from Cathy Day and her committee.
🧵 Then, add the following May and October two-day retreats to your calendars.
Monday, May 25th and Tuesday, May 26th – celebrate our nation’s Memorial Day together! Sign-ups will begin at the April general membership meeting.
Monday, October 26th and Tuesday, October 27th – get ready to create some spooky-beautiful projects together! Sign-ups will begin at the September general membership meeting.

summer session 2025
Thank you to all twenty-four ladies who participated in our summer RETREAT LITE held June 30th and July 1st. A productive two days were spent together completing projects, building skills, sharing ideas/patterns, and munching on healthy and not-so-healthy snacks!
This RETREAT LITE program was designed to give our members an opportunity to come together and sew, stitch, and share. SAVE THE DATE! Our next retreat will be in the fall on Monday, October 20th and Tuesday, October 21st. We will meet once again at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Prescott. SIGN UPS WILL TAKE PLACE AT OUR SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER GENERAL MEETINGS. Watch for details in future website updates. The cost remains $15.00 for the two day retreat.
