“American Glory” owned by Joy Swartz
This quilt was made by an unknown person sometime in 1961. It was a kit sold by Good Housekeeping magazine and it
included the fabric. The pattern inked on the muslin along with blue dots to indicate quilting lines. It is a copy of an
1860 quilt in the possession of the Philadelphia Museum.
