The December general membership meeting was called to order at 9:29 AM by President Jamie Davis.
· President Jamie reminded the members that we need to be out of the Elks Club facility no later than noon.
· President Jamie reminded our membership of her President’s challenge to sew quilts for the Hopi Elders this year. Full details are on the TBQ website.
· Please honor our own volunteers – this month we highlight the team on our MEMBERSHIP TEAM: Shelli Leffert, Dawnell Muecke, and Alicia Czuzak.
· Approval of the November general meeting minutes was requested first by Pat Noel and seconded by Kathy Spry. The membership approved the minutes unanimously.
· Volunteers are being recruited to help with the cutting and bagging of fabric for our 2026 Opportunity Quilt. Jamie and Dede will be cutting tomorrow.
o The Executive Committee has chosen to use the “Victory Garden” pattern designed by Wing and a Prayer Designs for our TBQG 2026 Opportunity Quilt.
o Fabric and pattern have been donated by our member Dede Elceg.
o Members of the guild will be asked to help create the blocks.
· Our TBQ Storage space keys will be changed this month. See Pat Noel today to turn in your current key and receive a new one.
o Noted that the following members received new keys today: Jamie Davis, Pat Noel, Cathy Day, Kathleen Bond, Deb Johnson, Sheryl Goddard, Lorraine Owens, and Pam Jones.

· Please extend your thanks to the December party committee who put together today’s soup and bread meal and holiday event.
· The P.I.G. (“Project in a Grocery bag”) program will be presented first.
· After eating we will have our gift exchange activity.
· At the end of the activity, stay long enough as the table directions will be raffled off.

· January – Sign ups continue today for our Jeff Warner’s “Bargello Star” quilt class.
· February – We will begin our new P.I.G. program for 2026. Sign-ups will be taken today. Volunteer participants should have two unfinished projects that you will allow the TBQ membership to vote for you to finish in the year.
