president’s message
Hello, TBQG Members!
A huge thank you to everyone who attended Dora Cary’s incredible trunk show. Wasn’t she just so inspiring? And to those who had the chance to take her class—what a blast! I know you came away with new skills, creative energy, and plenty of fresh ideas.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to share that next month we’ll have the pleasure of seeing our very own Martie Winkelman present her amazing wares at her trunk show. You won’t want to miss it!
And get ready for May, because Rob Appell will be joining us with some fabulous classes you’ll definitely want to sign up for. Be sure to check the TBQG website for all the details and registration info.
📢 Quilt Show Reminder: We’re just three months away! Have you prepared your quilts for submittal? The entry form deadline is April 15, so be sure to complete it on time. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Carrie Casto for assistance.
🔹 Heads-up: To shake things up a bit, the April Board meeting will be held on Monday, March 31 at 9:30 AM at Prescott Quilt Works.
I look forward to seeing you all on Monday, April 14 for another inspiring gathering.
Until then—keep on sewing!
Warmly,
Coco, President

community service
Adult Center Display
The new display of quilts has been hung at the Prescott Adult Center on Rosser Rd. The theme is “Eclectic Quilts.” The quilts exhibit a variety of quilting techniques for the public to enjoy.
When I dropped the quilts off to be hung, I observed someone taking a picture of one of the quilts that was about to be replaced. And, when I came back to take pictures of the new display, there were three ladies in a serious discussion about one of the new quilts and remarking about much time and effort must go into making a quilt. The staff regularly tells me how much the visitors enjoy our quilts.
I want to give a big THANK YOU to the ladies who have been participating in this community service project. Maybe next time you can offer one of your quilts to be shown and, if you have family or friends in town, this is a good place to show it off in our mini quilt show!
