“Newcomers” are the newest members of TBQ who have joined within the last year. Please contact Mary Ellen Coe or Georgia Lindsay for further information.
Newcomers is a great way to meet people, learn about the guild and make some super-cool projects! Primarily designed for those new to TBQ, we also welcome all members who wish to partake in our activities.
We share ‘show-n-tell’, scavenger hunt in the Membership Directory, tips and tricks, make a group quilt for the small quilt auction, and make some useful and beautiful projects.
Our annual calendar runs from September through May, with a break in December.

September/October 2024 Meetings
At our September Newcomers Gathering at Prescott Quilt Works, we made badge holders. In October, we made Project Bags.

March 2024 Meeting
The TBQ Newcomers have been busy these last couple of gatherings. We had a WONDERFUL truck show presented by Alicia and Dawnell in February! In March we gathered at Prescott Quilt Works (thanks Mary) to piece together a Quilt of Valor. Norma Enfield came to tell us all about the Quilt of Valor organization. The work these ladies do is so patriotic and touching!! We are excited to present a finished quilt to her in the next couple of months.
