Opportunity Quilt

2024-2025 Opportunity Quilt
“Everybody’s Home Town”

The task of selecting or designing a pattern, purchasing the fabric, and completing the Opportunity Quilt is taken on by a group of members who volunteer to do all the work.  When completed, it is shown to the members at the Guild meeting and we begin selling tickets for the drawing which takes place during our bi-annual Quilt Show.

Throughout the months prior to the Quilt Show, our Opportunity Quilt will travel around the state to other guild shows, the County Fair, or special events at the Yavapai County Courthouse.  Volunteers are always needed to work these events.  When we sell the tickets, it provides another opportunity for us to share all we do for the community through our Community Service Projects and how we are dedicated to promote the art of quilting through education.
